Tata AutoComp GY Batteries entered into an After-market tie-up with Tata Motors Limited CVBU (Commercial vehicle business unit) - India’s largest commercial vehicle makers to supply CV batteries to TML CVBU dealerships through Tata Green AM channel network. The synergy between the two Tata Group entities will ensure a hassle-free battery buying and service experience for all CV consumers across the country.
The unique association will enable Tata Green Batteries to be available for sales & service across the vast network of TML CV dealerships and workshops(~1200 active network). The batteries for commercial vehicle application are co-branded with Tata Green Batteries and Tata Motors logo highlighting this partnership. TATA Green has developed select unique SKUs for this tie-up, wherein these batteries shall be supplied only to TML CVBU workshops through TATA Green Aftermarket network.
The official signing ceremony was conducted in Tata Motors, Andheri (Mumbai) office on 12th July’22 in presence of Mr. Ravi Gupta (CEO – Tata Green Batteries) and Mr. R Ramakrishanan (Senior VP – Global Customer Care Head – TML CVBU), Mr Anil Bhamre (VP-Sales & Marketing- Tata Green Batteries), Mr. Girish Deshpande (DGM-Head Allied Business– TML CVBU), Mr. Goro Iwami (Executive Advisor to CEO- Tata Green Batteries), Mr. Nandakishore Dharnappa (Head-Customer Support- Tata Green Batteries), Mr. Ghanshyam Malik (Head- OEM Business – Tata Green Batteries) and other dignitaries from both companies.
Tata Green Batteries is one of the major OEM suppliers to Tata Motors CVBU for a long time now and this landmark marks the extension of the relationship to the After-market space wherein it presents a great opportunity for both the companies for mutual growth by ensuring the best of services for the CV consumers.
